My Little Beauty!

Kennedy is such a little sweetheart I just had to put up a few random pictures of her. She amazes me everyday at how smart she is and how she listens to EVERYTHING that comes out of my mouth and repeats it. (I've had a few woops moments!) She is 2 going on 16, it's actually quite scary! But I love every minute I get to spend with this little beauty, she definetly keeps me laughing!

27 weeks!

27 weeks
Getting bigger by the day now! I'm slowly beginning to grow out of all my gym clothes, which is kind of a problem since it's what I wear to train my clients in. Maternity gym clothes are almost non existant so I'm improvising with what I have. Other than that, all is well!

Ironman St. George

This past weekend we went to Vegas for a few days (with the girls) and then onto St. George where we met up with the guys to watch the very first St. George Ironman. It was so fun to watch these AMAZING athletes compete in such a hard, grueling race. A 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and a 26.2 mile run to finish it off. Watching these athletes gives me the fever to want to do one myself someday (which I never thought in a million years I would want to do) They are so inspiring to me! So who knows...maybe in the next few years an ironman will be in my future.

Little miss Kennedy was so good all day while
we watched the racers for nearly 8 hours.
We just couldn't get enough!

This is Sophie, my niece's daughter who also did so well
watching the racers.

This was the 3rd place male finisher from Australia
This was the 1st place female finisher
So inspiring!

21 weeks!

I don't know why I chose not to look at the camera, but in any case this is me at 21 weeks along in my pregnancy. I feel bigger than I was for my 1st one but I could be making that up cause it's hard to remember. Things are going well (slow, but well) Hopefully the next few months are better than the last few! But whatever comes I will take it and be grateful!

Kennedy turns 2....2 months ago!

So I've been the worst blogger for the last couple months! I had problems with the memory card my pictures were on, I got frustrated and decided I was done with blogging for a little while. But I do think that birthdays are so fun and important that I just had to blog about Kennedy's 2nd Birthday. Even if it is 2 months late! Woops!
On Feb. 8th my little Kennedy turned 2 years old and decided (all on her own, no joke! While we were walking through Zurchers) that she wanted to have a "bobbi potty" in other words a Barbie Party. She had the best time playing with her little friends and cousins and opening up her presents! We are so grateful to everyone who came and brought such nice things for her!
We love our big 2 year old!

Hanging out in grandma's closet before my party started

With a Barbie theme we had to have a Barbie cake.
Chris made this adorable Barbie cake that took him 3 hours, I was so impressed!
Fondant and everything!

This is the cake that took me 5 minutes to order at Harmons!
I'm not nearly as crafty, patient or as talented as Chris.

Sierra and I did the decorating, I thought I'd show you our extreme skills!

Kennedy had so much fun opening her presents. She loves new clothes!

These were some of the many guests at Kennedy's party!
I apologize for those I missed, we loved having you all there!

Heather's little girl Gracie was also there but i didn't get a picture of her.

It's a.....

GIRL!
We're very excited to find out that we are having another little girl! I'm so excited that Kennedy will get to have a sister, they're the BEST! And that I'll get to reuse the many many girls clothes I have in storage. Chris was right all along, he knew it was going to be a girl the minute I found out I was pregnant.
Pregnancy is getting better for the most part, less sick which is great! But still very tired... Who isn't though? This pregnancy is definetly alot different than my first one but I'll take anything that comes my way...It's worth it!

Bowling, Swimming & Potty Time!

YEA! Kennedy is doing so good at going in the big girl potty! We started being consistent with her potty training on Tuesday of this week and she has done so well, I'm so proud of her! She loves her "big girl pants" (pull-ups) She'll go pee in the potty every single time she has to go. Nap & bedtime are bigger tasks than I want to accomplish right now but as far as daytime goes...so far so good!I love my big girl pants!

Last Monday Chris had the day off work so we decided to take Kennedy up to the Life Center and take her swimming, or should I say Chris took her swimming (I am a huge baby when it comes to cold water) Kennedy didn't mind the temperature at all, She loved every minute of it!
My little fish!

Kennedy swimming with her dad

A couple of weeks ago my parents, Sierra & Chris's parents all went bowling at All Star Lanes.
It had been awhile since we all had bowled, we had alot of fun though!

Kennedy loved pushing the ball and watching
it go down the lane all by herself!

Aunt Sierra, the worlds greatest bowler! ha ha!

sLaCkEr...Lots to Report!

Christmas...Wow! It seems so far away and yet I still haven't blogged about it yet. I know, I'm so over Christmas myself but I had to do a Christmas post.
We did have a great Christmas! We spent the 23rd of December with all of my dad's side of the family, Santa came to our party which was so fun for everyone! Instead of doing gifts this year we each drew a name out of a hat and wrote a short poem about that person. I wasn't that excited about it at the time but it turned out to be a great idea and the best Christmas yet! We have some very good, funny poets in my family! Christmas eve morning we invited both mine and Chris's parents (and Sierra of course) over for breakfast, it was alot of fun and sooo yummy! For Christmas Eve evening we spent the evening with just the 3 of us, we went to PF Changs for dinner and back to our house to make cookies for Santa. It was such a great relaxing night that we may have to turn into a tradition! Christmas day was very fun (especially for Kennedy) but very tiring for mom and dad. Lots of traveling to both sets of grandparents. But if I say so myself it was the best Christmas I've had in a while. It was so fun to see Kennedy walk into the family room and see her toys sitting there not knowing exactly what she should do with them! She loves her kitchen and plays with it everyday! We are so grateful that Kennedy has such wonderful grandparents who spoil her like crazy! I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas! Better late than never I guess.

Santa came to our family Christmas Party... So Fun!

Kennedy's presents from Santa

Walking into the family room for the first time
not really sure what's going on.

Still examining the situation

Finally comfy in her new chair with her new Dora book!

I love my new kitchen!

Santa trying to entice Kennedy to sit on his lap!

It worked!

The whole Smart family!
(except my parents)
What a good lookin' group.

Like I said above instead of presents for eachother on my dad's side of the family we wrote poems. This is me reciting my poem to the family and also announcing that we will be expanding our family and are expecting baby #2 due August 10th!
We are very excited for Kennedy to be a big sister (and so is she)
