Kennedy's Recital!!

Last night Kennedy had her vey first dance recital and she did such a great job! Her class looked so darling up there dancing! Kennedy is the littlest and youngest one in her class so I thought she might get a little stage fright and freeze up a little bit, but she didn't! She wasn't scared at all and went out there and did the dance just like she learned it! I was a very proud mama sitting in the audience watching her! She loved every minute of it too, I asked her when she was done if she wanted to do that again and she said "absolutely mom". So I guess we'll be signing her up again in August. Great job Miss Kennedy! We Love You!!

SG Triathlon!

A couple of weeks ago me and my family headed down to St George so that I could participate in the SG Triathlon. I took a couple of seasons off from doing Triathlons about a year after I had Kennedy and decided that this was the year I wanted to get back into doing them because I love everything that goes along with competing in them! Except cold water!! I love training for them (as crazy as that sounds), I love trying to beat my last time, and I love race day! I have the worlds BEST family by side as well! My husband is so supportive during my early morning training sessions, and he's there at all of my races snapping tons of pictures with the girls in tow! I also have such supportive parents, and in-laws, as well as my fabulous sister who always make it to all of my races! They're so great!!

It was such a fun, and hard race. It was an Olympic distance which is a 1 mile swim, 20.5 mile bike and a 6.2 mile run. My bike is easily my hardest event and I enjoy swimming and running about the same (I just hate the feeling when I first have to jump into the cold water, after that I'm good to go.) 1 race down, a few to go!!

Walking to start my swim

Chris & Piper made some new friends while I was out in the water

All done swimming. I was a little discombobulated.

If it looks like I'm walking...I am...slowly!

YEA!

Kennedy fed Piper her breakfast while I was on my bike.

So cute!

This Fancy Dancy Zoot backpack makes me look like a Legit

Triathlete even tho I'm a complete amateur!! It is pretty sweet though,

it holds everything! My wetsuit and my helmet are in there.
