Denver Trip...Nuggets Baby!

So Chris and I decided awhile ago that every 5 years we would take a trip for our Anniversary. So for our first trip we decided to do a trip to Denver to see the Nuggets play. Chris planned this one, and did such a great job!! For those of you who know me well you know that Chris and I are huge basketball fans, especially the NBA. I like the Jazz (Chris loves them) but there are a few other teams that I like to and alot of other players from random teams. The Nuggets happen to be a team that I love and they also have one of my favorite Players too, Chris Andersen aka: The Birdman! I love him and knew that as soon as we got to the stadium that I would be purchasing one of his jerseys for the game. The game we went to was this past Friday and they just so happened to be playing the Jazz. So I cheered for Denver, and Chris cheered for the Jazz. The Jazz won (which I was happy about, even though I was wearing a Nuggets jersey) So everyone was happy! It was such a fun game and a great trip. Denver is such a beautiful city, we walked everywhere even though it snowed almost the entire time. Our hotel was so pretty, and we shopped and ate at so many fun places! It was my first time leaving both of the girls for a whole weekend so it was tough for me but so much fun, and I knew they were in great hands with my mom & dad. Great job planning babe, I had a blast!

Chris and I at the game!

Chris got us great seats right behind the Jazz bench.
I could see every single one of Birdmans tattoos, but of course
none of my pictures turned out they were all blurry!

Chris even caught a parachute they threw down.
Every Jazz game he thinks he's gonna catch one, this time he actually did.

Nice and compacted it was too!
Ready to wear.

Happy Anniversary!!

Its hard to believe that I've been married to Chris for 5 years! The time has flown by so quickly! He makes me laugh every single day, and he is the best dad I could have ever wished for to our girls! Don't get me wrong, we've had our share of stupid fights over the years. No marriage is perfect. But at the end of every day I'm so grateful that I married my very best friend! I can tell him anything and he'll listen to me (at least it looks like he's listening even if he isn't) He is the person I go to for everything! I love him more that I can even describe! Here's to 5 GREAT years and to 65 more!

This is a pic of us from this past summer when I was still preggo!

Tight Squeeze, Skiing, & Sunday Best

This is what I woke up to at 3am two nights ago and I had to get a picture of it (I was on the brown pillow), this is exactly how our bedroom ends up looking about 4-5 nights a week. Kennedy sneaks out of her bed and into ours and Piper loves to snuggle so she cries and I can't help but take her out of her bassinett and put her next to me. Chris ends up at the bottom of the bed cause that's the only place where there's any room. You think a king size bed is big until you try to fit a family of 4 in it. Gotta love it!!

My mom is a great skiier and decided she wanted to take Kennedy to learn to ski this year, so we took her over to my grandparents yard after it had snowed and had her put her ski's on to walk around in to see how she would like it. Well...she hated it! She cried and wanted nothing to do with it. So sad! We're hoping as we get her use to it and continue to take her out weekly that it will get better cause she'd make such a darling little skiier!

I had to put up a couple of the girls in their Sunday Christmas dresses cause they looked so festive and cute! Loved Christmas and had a Great one, but I'm glad it's over so life can get back to normal.

A Little Christmas, Santa & Some Randoms!!

I'm seriously the worst blogger ever! I have the greatest of intentions to document my children's lives this way but it is very difficult for me. I'm not computer savvy, I don't have a facebook, I just recently stepped into the world of "smart phones." Up until this Christmas I was rocking a phone where the most advanced thing it did was text messaging. I try really hard to be a good, consistent blogger, I'm not gonna lie though it's difficult for me. But here are a few cute pictures of my girls, it doesn't show all of the fun things we did this December but it still shows two very cute girls!

My sister, and my mom came with us to see Santa this year.
Here's my sis with Pipes!

Kennedy wanted nothing to do with Santa this year so this is as close
as you'll see her getting to him. The Christmas Tree in the doorway.

Piper was a happy girl waiting in line for Santa!

She didn't really give us a smile while sitting on his lap, but she didn't cry so I was happy!

A couple pics of my girls and their gorgeous, gigantic eyes!

Thanksgiving!

We spent our Thanksgiving this year with my side of the family and went up to Snowbird. We headed up on Wednesday to stay the night at 'The Lodge' at Snowbird and ate dinner at the buffet the next day. It was so much fun! I have the greatest family ever, and we had the greatest time! I so very rarely say (on my blog at least) what I'm thankful for. And I have so many things to be grateful for. So here goes... I'm so thankful for my wonderful family, my 2 beautiful healthy daughters, my hardworking husband who really is my best friend, the best parents I could EVER ask for, my sister who makes me laugh every time I'm around her, great friends, my Heavenly Father. And the list could go on and on! I'm very blessed in my life and I'm so Thankful every day for the things that I have. I hope everyone had just as great of a Thanksgiving as I did!

Ragnar & Halloween!!

On October 22 & 23rd a group of the coolest people EVER ran in the Ragnar Las Vegas. My friend Amy and I put a team together and it was one of the funnest race I've ever done! I definetly plan on putting a team together again next year. My car was a blast to be with, we all got along so great and had the best time together, lack of sleep and all!

This was my car hanging out in St. George getting ready to head over to our first exchange point at Lake Mead.
Me, Dustin and Carson in the back and Annie, Kacey and Sierra in the front!
