Kennedy turns 1!

Kennedy turned 1 on Sunday and I can hardly believe it, It went by so fast! Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is her favorite show on the Disney Channel so we threw her a Mickey Mouse themed party over at my mom's house. It turned out so great! Kennedy had so much fun opening her presents and especially playing with her birthday cake. She got so many great presents from friends & family that we love so much! Thanks to all of you, we love & appreciate everything you do for Kennedy!

This was her Mickey Mouse birthday cake.
I can take no credit for this,Chris is the domestic goddess who made it!
He did a fabulous job!

Sierra would definetly have something to say to me if I
didn't give her credit for decorating. She did a great job!

Kennedy absolutely loved playing in her cake, she made a huge mess!
It was so cute though!

She had alot of fun opening her presents too!
She got so many cute & fun things.

Happy 3rd Anniversary to us!

Chris and I celebrated our 3rd Anniversary on Saturday night (It's actually on Monday the 2nd) but he wanted to plan something over the weekend. We went up to Park City for dinner at a restaurant on Main Street called Wahso which was so delicious! I would definely eat there again! Then we went up to Midway and stayed at a little bed & breakfast called The Blue Boar Inn. It was such a cute little cozy place and a perfect place to spend an anniversary! Chris did a great job planning it this year, it'll be hard for me to top for next year! I love you so much Chris! Thanks for 3 great years and 50 more to come!

Chris & I at Wahso. They gave us our own little private room to eat in.
So so Yummy! I recommend it!

This is the inside of the eating area at the Blue Boar Inn.
Quaint and cozy!

We ate breakfast there the next morning.
It was a 5 course breakfast, I'd never even heard of
eating that much food for breakfast before!
It was very good though.

The outside of the beautiful Inn.

Serious, Sleepy Kennedy!

If your've ever met Kennedy you know how serious she is. It's almost impossible to get a smile out of her for a picture! She's definetly a baby that has to warm up to you before she'll smile at you. But once she does she's the funniest baby you've ever met! These pictures however do not show the funny side of her.
This was the first time she's ever fallen asleep in her high chair.
Chris and I were laughing so hard! She's so precious!

Kennedy in her Kyle Korver jersey. She's mad cause the Jazz are suckin' it up right now!

This is the look Kennedy gives most people when they first meet her.

and still serious!

An Afternoon Jog!

Sierra and I went on a little jog the other day while I pushed Kennedy. She slept the whole time!

Me and my sis after the jog!

She's in there somewhere, with her hat covering her head.
Now this is the way to exercise!

1st Swimming Lesson!

Kennedy had her first swimming lesson on Wednesday. She wimpered for the first 5 minutes of the lesson because she wasn't too sure about it. But after that she did great and loved every minute of it! It was so much fun to be in the water with her and watch her face while she learned so many new things. Chris was there to take pictures and my mom & sister came to be Kennedy's cheering section.

She refused to look at the camera for a picture so Chris took one of her bum in her cute new swimming suit.

Our little family, before the class started.

kick, kick, kick!

Under the water

and back up!
She did so good going under water for the first time with the instructor,
she didn't cry or anything.

Kicking on the foam pad with the instructor.

Floating on her back was her least favorite part, she cried when we tried it.
She got better each time though.

All finished!
We had so much fun!

A Few Random Pics of my Girl!

I think she looks like a little hippie in this picture!

I love my girl!

I see you!

She looks like frankenstein when she walks, but she's getting good at it!

Training Begins...yet again!

I've enjoyed having a nice break from training for the last couple months, but now it's time to get back to business! Every January training begins for the races of the upcoming season. The first one on the calendar is the Salt Lake half marathon on Saturday April 18th. It's such a fun race to do if your a first timer or a seasoned runner. If anyone is interested in running this race with me and a handful of others I run with let me know, we do our long runs as a group on Saturdays and we'd love to have as many people as we can! The more the merrier!

HaPpY NeW YeArS!

We celebrated New Years this year by rockin' out to our good friend Debbie Brockbank and her band "24-6" at The Rock and Roll Academy. They were SOOO good! It was such a treat to be able to listen to them all night. Chris and I had such a blast with my parents while Kennedy enjoyed spending some time with grandma & grandpa Pew. I hope everyone had a great New Years as well!
Debbie is a true rocker! Her band was awesome!

Happy New Years!

I wish Neil didn't look high in this picture but it's the
only one I have of him with Chris and I.

My awesome parents rockin' out to Debbie's band!
