Family Time

A couple of weeks ago Chris's sweet grandparents came in to town to visit so we had to get a picture of them with all the grandkids. It turned out pretty cute except for my child off to the left pulling a face she just learned how to do. Crazy girl!
It was so great having the grandparents in town & getting to spend time with them! We love you both so much!

Isn't he the cutest ever?

"Dear Lizzie"

On Thursday me and two of my good friends Amy & Heather (along with our daughters) went to the cutest little boutique/cafe for lunch called "Dear Lizzie" out in Alpine. It was such yummy food and the cutest boutique I've ever been to. If you have time I would definetly check it out! Cute holiday decor stuff too! It was such a fun afternoon!

HaLLoWeEn!

My Sweet Little Minnie Mouse

This year for Halloween Kennedy had alot of fun because she actually got to do a little bit of Trick*or*Treating! She had no idea what was going on, she just kept staring at all of the other little kids dressed up and couldn't quite figure it out. But people just kept giving her candy, so she was ok with that!
Chris's mom always has a party at her work where the kids go from office to office trick or treating, so of course we did that with all of her cousins (except new baby Logan.) And we always have fun there. This year we also went to my sweet Grandma Smarts nursing home to visit her and trick or treat there also. And finally, we went out to Chris's sisters house out in South Jordan where there are a 1000 children and Kennedy got to go from house to house trick or treating with her cousin Avery! She had so much fun, and aboslutely loved being Minnie Mouse (It's her favorite thing in the world right now!)

Girls Trip to Vegas!

Once a year the girls of our family try to get together for a girls only weekend get a way, this year we went to Vegas. One of my favorite places for shopping, food and very interesting people watching. The 8 of us flew down and got to spend 3 nights at the Palazzo Hotel (thanks to my mom) doing nothing but shopping, eating, playing by the pool, and lots and lots of walking. It was one of the funnest trips I've been on because I love the amazing girls that I went with. Kennedy is definetly my child because she loves shopping just as much as I do (I've created a monster, Sorry Chris!) We had such a blast!

This is Sophie, Syd's beautiful daughter
She is one of the best I've ever met at giving this look, SO Funny!

I got Kennedy these Hello Kitty boots earlier that day, she thought they were 2
purses because they have little handles. She would not let them go and even fell
asleep with them, How precious is that?

We saw this crazy lady doing this exact same pose the night before
we took this picture. We could not stop laughing and had
to recreate it for our own picture.

Kennedy's 1st trip to Disneyland!

Not only did we run in our race but we also did 1 day at Disneyland. (1 day is enough when you have to deal with Chris & a 1 year old at the same time, Chris isn't a fan of rides) But we did have alot of fun for the short time we were there. Kennedy got to go on some rides and see some characters. I think it was more fun for me to watch her reaction to the things she saw than anything else! We had alot of fun on our trip, especially with both of our parents being able to be there. I'm looking forward to bringing her back here next year!
I thought she was going to be scared to see Mickey, but she wasn't
more in ahh than anything else! It was cute to see her with them!

We got this Minnie Mouse night gown for her at Disneyland
She LOVED it! Her first night gown, how cute!

This was her favorite ride (I think because she got her very own horse)

Disneyland 1/2 Marathon!

Over Labor day weekend Chris and I ran in the Disneyland 1/2 Marathon, along with my sister and Chris's cousin Stephanie. It was such a fun race that I highly recommend to anyone interested in doing a 1/2. We got to run through Disneyland, California Adventure, The Anaheim Angels Stadium and the finish line was right on Downtown Disney. Not to mention it was my PB at 1:51, It was a BLAST! My parents and Chris's parents all came down to watch and support us, They're the best! We're so lucky to have them as our cheerleaders!

Me, Chris and a tired Kennedy at the finish line!
